Hey guys! It’s me popping in to give you a bit of an update. I had wanted to do this post around Easter, or at least at the end of last month so I could have something for April. But that’s okay, because we can start the month fresh ^^

Ghee Girls Unite!

Hey guys – how is November treating you so far? Today is so cold – it was like 20 F today whereas yesterday it was in the 50’s? Madness.

Today I did another Ghee collaboration with my friend and one of the Ghee models, Aorist. I always say I should do more collaborations but they can be tricky to arrange. The last post I did back in 2015 was with Amity.

Mini update and where to shop this month!

This month does not look that great for me.

With the exception of getting to go to see Jason Bourne at the movies for my rl birthday, I don’t think August is turning out to be a good month.

– My dad has spent roughly the equivalent of a week in the hospital. He was hospitalized the end of last month, got released after several days, and then went back after he didn’t take his meds.

– The recent heatwave we had has made my room unbearable to be in, never mind focusing long enough to get any significant work done. My room is easiest the hottest place in the house.

– As a result, I haven’t been able to sleep that well. It seems like I can sleep pretty much anywhere else. For instance, the other night I slept on the living room couch…was able to fall asleep a lot faster for some reason.

– For the last several days, I have been dealing with a sore & scratchy throat. Tea, lozenges, honey, water, vitamins…all so it won’t progress further. This weekend I have been coughing a lot as well 😦

One thing I have been doing this month is a LOT of shopping and browsing. There are so many sales on the grid this month, even I had a hard time keeping up.

I got this hair from Besom’s 99L sale. I have no idea how long it will last, so you should go there today and see if you can find anything. The outfit is from paper arrow co, who is at the Whimsical event. The event lasts until September 8th, so you still have time to shop ^^ I also got a dress by Storybook as well.

Ghee at the 2016 Aloha Fair

Hey guys! I had mentioned earlier that I would do another post on the Aloha Fair, and here it is! Ghee is another store that is currently at the Aloha Fair. It started July 27th, and it ends on August 10th. Are you interested in modeling? Ways to improve your blog?

Hey guys! I know I have spoken to a few people about this already, but next month I will be teaching courses at Miss SL Academy! This is great for those who always wanted to learn how to model in Second Life, but wasn’t sure if it’s for them. Also, you will be able to learn (or improve on) a skill set that can be applied to every day Second Life. I will be holding sessions on August 4th  and August 11th. Those are two Thursday dates. There are other days and times too , but you would need to check the calendar under Academy – > Schedule.

An Artful Display

Hello! Today I wanted to play with dark lighting again. You can look at some of my previous attempts here and here.

I had bought the Lelutka hair from Hair Fair (which ends soon, so go there), and was already wearing a swimsuit from Ghee. You can find it at the Aloha Fair, which I have blogged about in my last post. I will be doing another post soon so you can see more of the swimsuit, along with other items Ghee is offering. So once I had the hair and the swimsuit, I added some accessories. I really liked Chop Zuey’s Black Night, Silver Moon from the Vincent in Aries collection. The choker especially seemed to polish my overall look. I really liked the contrast the black stones had with the silver.

Fashion for Life 2016 – now open!

Hey guys! If you did not already know, the 2016 Fashion for Life sims are now open and ready for you to shop ’til you drop!

One thing that I liked about this year’s Fashion for Life is the guidebook that has been provided for us. It’s a quick way of seeing what brands are participating at Fashion for Life, the FFL committee, photos of each themed sim along with their SLurls, and schedules of music performances and fashion shows.

There is also the treasure hunt, the photo contest (entries are due March 17th ), and the auction on March 19th.

Lounge with a jumpsuit

I think my favorite go-to look over the past few days is to wear a jumpsuit and to put a bolero over it. Lelutka did a great job coming out with these little jackets over the holidays ^^ I like jumpsuits because they fit most people, and it’s not a lot of work to look fabulous. Plus, to me they are the glam version of comfort.

The jumpsuit I have on today is by Valentina E, and I got it from Uber. This round ends on the 23rd, so you still have time to visit.
