May’s Musings

A lot has happened this month, and overall I am pleased with all that has happened. I got a new job in SL, I watched a couple of wrestling matches, and The Fashion Loft got the chance to be part of a great initiative ran by one of my good friends ^^

Major Living

Hey guys! How have you been? Even though I know February is a short month, it just FEELS shorter, you know? Last time I remember thinking about the month was right before Valentine’s Day. And now here it is, almost at the end of the month. This month I have started to slowly get back engaged into Second Life. Thank you to everyone who was concerned about me ^^ It’s funny because when we were talking, they would mention that they, too were taking a break or RL was keeping them from being in SL as much. But I guess because they are used to seeing me on, it was different when we kept missing each other.

I have noticed from social media (the bit that I have been on this month) is that there are a number of people who are having a rough time (or should I say continue to have because I noticed this in January, too). It’s sad because we can’t do much to help them except to support them emotionally. And let’s not give them a hard time because they can’t maintain their regular routine.

Ghee at the 2016 Alfa Future People SL event

Hey guys! For all of you music lovers and shopaholics alike, I have something for you all today! The Alfa Future People SL music festival started on May 27th, and you will be able to shop the event through June 17th. There will be music from DJs all over the world up until next weekend – you can check the website for their schedule. As I am writing this post, I am listening to DJ Cozi Sawai’s music on mixcloud right on the website. They also have DJ Vodann and DJ Jim Godde. It seems to be dance and electronic music, which would correspond to the RL AFP event that will be held in Russia from July 22 – 24.

Ghee is one of the stores at this musical event, and has released a latex garter mini dress, as well as latex thigh high boots.

The strangest thing I’ve ever seen at a funhouse

I was looking for a carnival of sorts to take a couple of photos of the outfit from Blacklace Lounge, Cherry Pop. I think this looks very “fun” – gumballs, bright colors, etc. It even has a cute purse that I can see myself wearing with different outfits. I had found a section to take pictures at Sleepy Hollow when I saw this in front of me:

I guess someone didn’t like clowns…or just maybe not this one. I don’t get why people don’t like clowns; I’m not scared nor ecstatically happy to see them.

*whispers* You can slip 25 cents in my purse…but if you try to take any quarters out, you will end up like the clown 😛
