Okay – I have decided to show you guys some of the stuff that I have been getting for these Black Friday sales. Shopping is definitely therapeutic. With the exception of Blueberry, it was nice just teleporting from store to store and then walking/camming around to try on and buy items. Second Life residents get all the craziness of Black Friday every time we try to get into a new event round…sometimes I wonder why do we do this to ourselves.
I spoke with one of my cousins in RL and she said that she didn’t feel the need to shop just because it was Black Friday. She has everything she needs, and doesn’t need a lot of stuff. Bath & Body Works had some sales prior to Thanksgiving, so I bought some lotions and hand soaps. Could I had lived without them? Sure. But since I look at their items throughout the year and wonder how a certain scent smells or not willing to pay $15 for an item, then Black Friday (and similar sales) would be the perfect time to get them. The same applies for Second Life. And store owners, take note: If it wasn’t for being able to look at a store’s Flickr stream to see what what they have, I wouldn’t had bought as much stuff.
Hey guys! December 26th was my rez day, and I had a lot of fun celebrating it. I wanted to do a quick post showing a preview of what I got during the day while I work on the big post ^^
Hey guys! The Dog Days of Summer hunt is on now at the Blacklace sim. You will be able to look for seashells throughout the participating stores.
I tried to get a list of stores that were participating, but that didn’t work out too well. So I did the hunt myself to see how many shells I could find. Then I compared the stores to the stores that submitted something on Flickr, and I think there was one store on Flickr that I couldn’t find a shell for. They didn’t have a hint sign outside of their store either, so go figure.
Hey guys! I had mentioned earlier that I would do another post on the Aloha Fair, and here it is! Ghee is another store that is currently at the Aloha Fair. It started July 27th, and it ends on August 10th. Today I will show you a sample of what is available at the fair, but you can always check the Ghee website to get more of an idea of what is in store for you.
Hey guys – I hope you have been taking advantage of all of the sales in Second Life! I decided to show you what I got today (so far). Today I am featuring items from The Annex and Exposeur Poses.
According to the notecard that I received this morning, “Today has the lowest prices ever at Exposeur, a whopping 75% off ALL props and poses, plus L$25 gachas! This is the perfect time to stock up on everything you’ll need or want for awesome photos! “
I found out about The Annex from Flickr – a number of stores have items out for 50% off. Something about the dress made me want to get it – the mermaid tail, perhaps?
If you miss out on Cyber Monday finds, you always have the 12 days of Savings – an initiative by Linden Lab and some of the top selling merchants on marketplace to bring us all of the good deals!
The fourth Boho Culture Fair ends on November 2nd. So if you haven’t been yet, now would be a good time to check it out. I think many are focused on celebrating Halloween ^^
Today I am wearing Ghee‘s clothing, which can be found at the Boho Couture Fair.
I normally don’t wear green, but since the Foxy Lady Madylin skirt had green flowers, I decided to wear green tights as well. Ghee has a variety of colors, all at their main store. Make sure you demo so you can decide the best way to wear Ghee according to your tastes.

I used to eat a decent amount of frozen meals at one time. I especially loved the chicken and the pasta meals. At one point I started to feel ill whenever I ate anything that had cheese in it, so I had to stop.

Frozen meals, or TV dinners as they once were called, have been around since the 1950’s. Since watching television had gotten to be the thing to do, especially around dinner time, the TV meal was created so that families could eat together and still watch their favorite TV show.
Free bird at the Multicultural Menu event has managed to capture a moment in time with their themed decor to showcase their TV dinners. When you play the gacha machine, you can play to win a Salisbury steak dinner, fried chicken dinner, and turkey & gravy dinner.
