Hey guys – how is November treating you so far? Today is so cold – it was like 20 F today whereas yesterday it was in the 50’s? Madness.
Today I did another Ghee collaboration with my friend and one of the Ghee models, Aorist. I always say I should do more collaborations but they can be tricky to arrange. The last post I did back in 2015 was with Amity.
This dress reminded me a lot like lingerie, so I decided to share it with you guys today. The Macrame mini dress by Ghee can be found at The Darkness event, which ends on the 31st. So you still have a little bit of time left to stop by and check it out ^^
The Wash is at it again with this year’s Cart Sale event! For this time around, the theme is “Springtalicious”. Most items are priced at 10L, and merchants have one item at 50L. There are many bargains, so make sure you make The Wash one of your shopping priorities this weekend. The Cart Sale started on March 29th, and ends on April 12th. For more information, you can check out their website.
Hey guys! I just wanted to make a quick post to wish all of my readers a very Merry Christmas – I hope you all had fun today 🙂 There are a number of holidays this time of year, so I never understood why some get offended if one decides to say “Happy Holidays!” instead. It’s all meant to wish people well, so let’s all just have fun!
On Sunday, I had the opportunity to see the owner of LaVian, Samantha S Jones, speak at the SL13B Auditorium with the hostess Saffia Widdershins. It was interesting to learn that Samantha went from participating in culinary arts in real life to becoming a designer on a virtual platform. My friend Khitt also was in attendance, and we both enjoyed the opportunity to hear from a prominent SL designer. The audience was even treated with a mini fashion show, and a gift bag of items from the Spring 2016 collection.
What was coincidental about this was that two weeks ago, Khitt and I had taken pictures with us wearing LaVian dresses. Since I am slow, it took me a while to edit the photo. But now I see I was just waiting for the right opportunity ^^
…but do you have mine? That’s the real question – ha!
Another event I would like to share with you is the 30/31 event. According to the website, “This event is designed to promote 2D, 3D, and decorative arts and to introduce people to the amazing artists of Second life! The goal is to bring people to you!”
Even though I have yet to see snow in my neck of the RL woods, it’s definitely winter! Sometimes we may feel not as glamorous due to all of the bulky clothes that we have to wear. But Ghee has a solution for that – get glammed with Nikita!
Besides the Nikita dress, you can complete the ensemble with a matching fur shawl and hat. You can also get fur booties (for Slink feet) to go along with the dress – we wouldn’t want your feet to get cold now do we?
There are 6 different colors to the Nikita dress, and at first you may not be able to see the colors, depending on what windlight you are using. They are all lovely winter shades. I am wearing Amethyst Ice. Currently, you can get Nikita at The Instruments until January 6th. If you miss out, you can always check back at the main store later to pick it up.
The fourth Boho Culture Fair ends on November 2nd. So if you haven’t been yet, now would be a good time to check it out. I think many are focused on celebrating Halloween ^^
Today I am wearing Ghee‘s clothing, which can be found at the Boho Couture Fair.
I normally don’t wear green, but since the Foxy Lady Madylin skirt had green flowers, I decided to wear green tights as well. Ghee has a variety of colors, all at their main store. Make sure you demo so you can decide the best way to wear Ghee according to your tastes.
