When I went to Hair Fair, I saw my friend at the same booth I was going to (@ Studio Exposure). She was trying on the hair that I was going to see went with my current look. After I told her about the coincidence, we then shopped Hair Fair together. Seeing her randomly reminded me of the days where you could make new friends by shopping at a favorite store (which is how we first met, actually). She seems to always pop up when I am stressed and of need of some sort of break. “Hey sis! What’s new or on sale – let’s go shopping!”
Why did I mix and match the hairbases from Tableau Vivant and Studio Exposure? Even though I liked the bun that came with S.E., I felt like my look needed a bit more hair presence. The Pure Gold hairbase came with a bun that was pulled to the back. I was considering the Fine Gold hairbase because the bun was pulled into a high bun. But for my purposes, you could not see enough gold in the hairbase. Tableau Vivant’s braid can be placed on the right, left, or in the back via the multi style HUD. And I was happy with this shade of brown (TV tends to have cooler brown tones, which may or may not work for me depending on the hairstyle), so I got this hair.
The daisy in the Himmaleh necklace can be hidden, and I think that’s why I like this particular set from Chop Zuey. If you don’t want the because you want a different look, you can remove it and still wear the necklace separate. In the past, Belle has had different parts of a necklace that you could choose to wear or not, and it still looks nice. So this is a new twist on things.
If you want a complete outfit from Ghee, this month you can get the Essential Heels and the Croc Tote bag also at Designer Showcase. I took a picture of the display so you can see everything they have to offer. The Tweedy Jodhpurs come in 6 colors, and the Cold Shoulder Blouse comes in 9 colors.
I feel that the pants give the outfit a slightly more refined look because of the duality in its design. I have spoken about this before, but certain clothing items almost demands for your styling to be next-level, or else the whole look falls flat. if you would like to know the history of the Jodhpurs pants, feel free to check out this link.
