Shoebox Event – September Round

Hey guys! A new shoe event has opened on the grid at 8 pm SLT on September 4th. The name of the event is called ShoeBox, and it is created by Rebeca Dembo (owner of CandyDoll), and co-owned by Skye Everidge. I am not sure if they both created the event together, for when I hear about the event, I only hear about Rebeca. However, if you look at the website and group, Skye is listed as a co-owner.

The event will start on the 4th of each month, and last until the 1st of the following month. This month we have 14 stores participating in the event.

I was surprised to see that a number of stores had shoes for only Maitreya feet – almost half the stores. It’s one thing if you have a certain style of shoe, and only a certain foot will do (e.g. Ingenue’s kitten heeled bootie). But if it’s a generic high or flat heel, there is no reason why a minimum of two sizes cannot be made. It just seems like in the rush to get items created by the deadline, shortcuts were taken by only rigging one size. I hope this will not be a trend for future rounds.
