That pretty much says it all, don’t you think? For the workaholics and the busy-as-a-bee people in Second Life, I feel like a lot of us push fun to the side to pursue other activities. Sometimes we call it change, other times we say we have grown out of doing certain things, and then for some, it’s a sacrifice so that we can do what we believe to be greater things.
One of my friends helped me get back in touch with the fun aspects of SL today. We went to a snowy sim where we sat on the swings until I got too cold (it happens when you go outside with no coat, even if your friend promises to keep you warm…smh). He said it was my turn to pick a place to visit. I thought about a place that I’d heard about, but never got the chance to visit it properly.
ℳøηї (monica.querrien): hmm
ℳøηї (monica.querrien): do you like coffeehouses?
xxxxx xxxxx: yesh
xxxxx xxxxx: if they are cuddly
One thing I like about The Pixel Bean Coffeehouse is that you can either be sociable on the ground floor, or head upstairs if you want a semi-secluded conversation with your friends. The Bean has live events too from time to time, so if you like such events, be sure to come visit.
